Affordable Art Fair Battersea - Autumn 2023

I’ll be exhibiting on the East London Printmakers stand at the Affordable Art Fair Battersea (18 - 22 October). Kiln gods permitting, there will be some of my new ceramic ‘Harbour Life’ capriccios, similar to the one pictured. Southbank Bank Printmakers Mini Print Competition 2023

‘Harbinger 1’ monoprint with chine collé

Two of my prints have been selected for this exhibition at the Southbank Printmakers gallery in Gabriel’s Wharf (close to the National Theatre in London). The print shown here is a viscosity monoprint titled ‘Harbinger I’. The exhibition dates are 3 October - 3 December 2023 and both prints will also be available in Southbank Printmakers’ online shop until 3 January 2024.

My handcoloured mokulito/prontoplate litho print ‘Watchers’ has been selected for ‘Inspired By’, an exhibition by members of The Printmakers Council at Emma Mason Gallery in Eastbourne (7 October - 4 November 2023.

Bedford Park Festival

‘Three French Hens’, etched lino and linocut.

My etched lino/linocut print ‘Three French Hens’ (70 x 50 cm) is in the Festival Exhibition at St Michael & All Angels in Bedford Park, Chiswick (I don’t live in Chiswick, but I have family connections there). The exhibition is open 10am - 6pm on 8th - 16th June 2023.

Affordable Art Fair Hampstead 2023

‘Strange Interlude’, ceramic wall-hung dish

I’m exhibiting with nine colleagues from East London Printmakers at the Affordable Art Fair on Hampstead Heath, 10 - 14th May. My hang includes new prints on ceramic and a new iteration of my ‘Small Creature’ series - this time printed using kitchen lithography.

Fulham Symphony Orchestra

My screen monoprint ‘Night’s Black Bird’ is the publicity image and programme cover for Fulham Symphony Orchestra’s spring concert at St John’s Smith Square on March 25th. The programme is Night’s Black Bird by Harrison Birtwistle and Mahler’s 10th Symphony as realised by Deryck Cooke. Graphic design by Gavin Compton.

I have a mokulito print ‘The Other Side’ and a sketchbook in the Printmakers Council exhibition at Bankside Gallery in London, 30 January - 5 February 2023 Printmakers Council chose the page from my sketchbook shown above for the exhibition branding, including a huge banner outside the gallery.

St John’s Smith Square

The Wicked Queen - an illustration for Snow White

I’ve supplied a small illustration for St John’s Smith Square’s summer season brochure. The image relates to Eleanor Alberga’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which will be performed at Fulham Symphony Orchestra’s family concert on 17th June.
UPDATE: This image was also used for FSO’s concert publicity and programme. I also supplied seven spot illustrations of music-themed jockeys, which were used in both the children’s and adult programmes.
